Island Systems Ltd has a proactive policy of supporting the local community and the environment.

This policy encourages staff to give time to the local community for which Island Systems  provides flexibility of working to its support staff.  ISL has sponsored a number of local charities and provided IT equipment to our local primary school and we sponsor the IT prize for Chessington Community School.  

Schools, Hospitals and registered charities wishing to contact ISL should realise that we do have a local focus within Kingston and the surrounding area and that our donations are decided after consideration on an annual fiscal year basis and we prefer to sponsor a specific item, rather than providing money to general funds.  We usually ask for written requests for consideration rather than phone calls please.  Past organisations receiving donations have included:

• Malden Manor Primary School

• Kingston Racial Equality Council

• Kingston Parish Church

ISL is proud to have been awarded a highly commended business prize in the Kingston upon Thames Business Helping the Community Awards for the year 1999 / 2000.

Our director has also been presented with an awarded from the Kingston Education Business Partnership (KEBP) in recognition of work in in the year 2001 for supporting the personal development and raising the achievement of young people in Kingston upon Thames.
